Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support classroom activities and foster a positive learning environment for students. This role is particularly suited for individuals who have a strong interest in early childhood education and are eager to contribute to the development of young learners. Experience in Montessori methods, special education, or literacy education is highly valued.
Duties
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Support students in their learning processes, providing individualized attention as needed.
- Help maintain an organized and engaging classroom environment.
- Facilitate communication between students and teachers to enhance understanding.
- Assist with classroom management to ensure a safe and productive learning atmosphere.
- Participate in the planning and execution of educational activities that promote literacy and social skills.
- Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being during school hours.
- Collaborate with other staff members to support students with special needs.
Experience
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Montessori principles or early childhood education practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with students, parents, and staff.
- Experience in lesson planning or classroom management will be beneficial.
- A background in special education or literacy education is advantageous but not mandatory.
