Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role involves implementing engaging lesson plans that promote early literacy, math skills, physical education, and overall childhood development while adhering to best practices in early intervention.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and incorporate Montessori principles.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and staff through effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas including literacy education, math skills, and physical education.
- Provide individualized support to children as needed to promote their growth and development.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning activities.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working in a daycare or preschool setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and physical activities.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Passion for nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning in children aged 3 to 5 years old.
