Job Opportunity: Nursery Delivery Driver
Location: Gunter, Texas
Pay: $25 - $29 per hour (based on experience and skill set)
About the Role
Treeland, a premier retail and wholesale nursery spanning 60 acres, is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is essential to ensure timely and accurate delivery of our high-quality trees and plants to customers. The ideal candidate will also lead a crew during deliveries and assist with various nursery tasks when not on the road.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport trees and plants to customer locations on the scheduled date and time.
- Drive a 4 Door Dodge truck with a 16’ trailer.
- Verify orders for accuracy and ensure product quality before delivery.
- Provide outstanding customer service while representing Treeland professionally.
- Lead and supervise a crew of 3-4 team members during deliveries and plant installations.
- Assist with unloading, planting trees and large shrubs, staking trees, and collecting payments from customers.
- Perform general nursery work on non-delivery days.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Class C Standard Driver’s License (must be at least 21 years old).
- Ability to drive a truck and trailer safely and efficiently. (Training offered if needed)
- Comfortable with heavy lifting (50 lbs.), prolonged standing, walking, bending, and physical labor.
- Must be available Monday – Saturday
- Professional, neat appearance and strong customer service skills.
