What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Treemen Industries?
** Duties **
- Trouble Shoot and repair all manufacturing equipment as needed.
- Electrical, hydraulics and air
- Installation of equipment
- Install electric, water, air
- Do routine preventive maintenance on air compressors, chillers, water tower and tanks, Vacuum Metallizing chambers, injection molding machines.
- Repair auxiliary equipment, hopper dryers, thermolators, hopper loaders.
- Initiating action to prevent the re-occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process and/or quality system up to and including when necessary stopping production to correct quality problems.
- Identifying and recording any problems relating to the product, process and quality system.
- Initiating, recommending or providing solutions through designated channels.
- Verifying the implementation of solutions in areas under your control.
- Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
- Perform preventative maintenance programs to minimize machine downtime.
- Coordinate outside companies to inspect and certify equipment as necessary for safety reasons.
**Requirements**
- Completion of Hazardous Materials training required.
- Trade School - 4 years or related job experience.
- Specific Training: Hydraulics, electrical and refrigeration and air conditioning.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Able to be on call
- Must have own vehicle
