Job Summary :
The Vacuum Metalizing Operator is responsible for loading/unloading the metalizing carriage. The VM Operator also inspects and packages parts to both customer and internal quality standards.
Job Duties:
The Vacuum Metalizing Operator, in addition to the responsibilities above typically:
- Gains knowledge of acceptable and unacceptable parts for quality
- Identifies and records any problems relating to the process and quality system
- Prevents occurrence of nonconforming parts through quality standards
- Initiates, recommends or provides solutions through designated channels
- Verify implementation of solutions in areas under your control
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Completes other tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor
Work Specifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Specific Skills: Manual Dexterity
- Physical Requirements: Able to lift 30lbs
- Hand-eye coordination and ability to distinguish colors
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
