About the Position:
Treetops Resort is seeking skilled and dedicated Cooks to join our banquet team. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional dining experiences during our banquet events, ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations. The ideal candidate will have a flair for culinary arts, a commitment to food safety standards, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:

Prepare high-quality dishes in line with Treetops Resort's standards for banquet events.

Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the resort's culinary leadership.

Assist with setup and breakdown of banquet meals, ensuring timely execution and service.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Collaborate with the culinary team to innovate and refine menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and guest preferences.

Manage food inventory and kitchen equipment, reporting any shortages or malfunctions to the Banquet Chef.

Participate in ongoing culinary training and workshops offered by Treetops Resort.

Qualifications
Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license.

Proven culinary experience working in a high-volume restaurant or banquet setting.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by banquet schedules.
