About the Position:
The Lead Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our resort rooms. This role involves training new hires, checking rooms for quality, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of consistent housekeeping experience, preferably in a resort setting, and is passionate about hospitality and teamwork.
Responsibilities:

Train and mentor new housekeeping staff, ensuring they understand and adhere to resort standards.

Check rooms for cleanliness and maintenance issues, ensuring they meet the highest standards.

Assist with daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning rooms and replenishing supplies.

Prioritize guest requests with a friendly and positive demeanor.

Use cleaning and sanitizing chemicals safely and as directed.

Rely on time management skills to clean check-outs and stayovers according to company standards.

Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, clean toilets, mirrors, countertops, windows, and dispose of trash properly.

Replenish and restock housekeeping carts and supplies for guests' needs.

Utilize communication skills to track and report tasks while using proper radio skills with other departments.

Deep clean resort needs when required.

Other duties as required.
Qualifications
Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have weekend availability.

Capable of maintaining 14 rooms in an 8-hour day using cleaning movements such as bending, reaching, lifting & carrying up to 30 lbs., etc.

Desire to work independently, with team goals as a priority.

Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

At least 1 year of consistent housekeeping experience, preferably in a resort setting.
