Trego/Dugan Aviation's (TDA) Airline Ground Handling division is expanding at a steady pace and not slowing down! TDA performs airline ground handling services in over 40 stations across the country for multiple Airline Partners.
TDA is seeking a Managing Director to join our senior management team in the Airline Ground Handling division on the East Coast.
The Managing Director must be able to work effectively in a team environment and is responsible for leading a management team to deliver excellent and safe services as well as act as the liaison to Company headquarters and the client to ensure stations perform to corporate, client and regulatory agency’s standards. In addition, the Managing Director will be work closely with our airline business partners and must be able to create and foster relationships with them.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures service delivery to customer airlines/airports in accordance with contracts and within set budget levels.
- Foster a safe working environment. Hold employees accountable for safety audit performance.
- Monitors financial and operational performance works with management to resolves service issues to ensure contract retention.
- Liaises with station managers, airline partner’s management, and other airport stakeholders.
- Monitors team’s recruiting and staffing. Ensures recruiting and hiring policies and procedures and staffing levels are maintained to meet internal/external service level/quality assurance standards.
- Monitors performance and takes action with development, implementation, and followup on corrective action plans.
- Provides guidance and leadership to the team.
- Investigates and reports all accidents, incidents, and irregularities, including work-related accidents/incidents, passenger incidents involving TDA employees and property and/or aircraft damage.
- Ensures compliance with all local, state and federal rules and security measures.
- Provides reports as required and service delivery measurements.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
At least ten (10) years of experience in the airline industry management required, particularly showing increasing degrees of responsibility and including some experience with many of the following areas: budget preparation, long-range planning, and management of airline operation.
Other Requirements and Qualifications:
- 4 years College degree preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reading & comprehension of reference materials, instructions, policies & procedures.
- Basic Math Skills: Adding, Subtracting, Division, and Multiplying.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Able to stand, bend, squat, reach, grasp and pick up items; occasional lifting up to 70lbs-100lbs.
- Valid US work authorization.
- Valid Driver License.
- Background check, fingerprinting required and drug screen.
- Professional demeanor and exceptional presentation.
- Flexible schedule & availability.
- Must be vaccinated
