Job Overview :
This role is responsible for developing, configuring, and supporting the IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS). The ideal candidate will have 5-9 years of experience with enterprise Java technologies, microservices architecture, and Sterling Commerce implementations. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with business analysts, mentoring team members, participating in on-call rotations, and ensuring system performance, integration, and compliance with best practices. This individual is responsible for producing code, configurations, unit tests and design concepts to implement and support order management system. SEEKING HARDCORE CODER
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop / configure, build, review and unit test software / solutions.
- Partner with the business analysts to review and refine business requirements into core system capabilities.
- Assist developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualizing and validating solutions that meet business requirements.
- Prototype new requirements for the purpose of enhancing technical functionalities and information process flow.
- Assist in quality assurance (QA) efforts on tasks worked by providing input for test cases and supporting test case execution.
- Participate in on-call rotations.
- Meet with technical leads, architects and vendor partners to determine project scope and vision, set system goals, identify and resolve system issues, ensure the system is implemented as designed and in adherence to the implementation guidelines.
- Work directly with the business users to provide support including design and development of customer training materials, as well as conduct customer training sessions.
- Mentor team members on new technologies in area of expertise.
- Work with Enterprise teams to ensure changes are properly documented, communicated, audited, and deployed in compliance with established procedures.
