What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service / Planner position at Trelleborg Brand?
Responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned customer accounts, including processing customer purchase orders, researching, and providing status updates on open orders, and handling product returns. Will also work closely with the Sales Engineers associated with the territories and accounts assigned. To plan and ensure that all products are manufactured at the right time to meet the customers' schedule, requirements and demand.

- Input all incoming customer orders on the within 24 hours of receipt for the assigned Value Stream.
- Acknowledge customer delivery dates to be in line with customers’ requested dates and achieve an OTD of 95%.
- Advise the customer beforehand of any production delays that cause the acknowledge date to be missed.
- Generate return authorizations and process repair or replacement orders.
- Run daily invoicing.
- To plan sensibly all TSS Pawling customer orders as per the requested delivery date, bearing in mind tooling, manpower, and machine resource constraints.
- To amend/cancel orders as per order fluctuations to maintain a constant WIP (work in process) level.
- Any significant future change in material consumption is to be flagged.
- Highlight any need for new/additional tooling requirements to the Manufacturing Support functions.
- Manage ‘hands-on’ any urgent parts and take all necessary action so that the parts are ready for shipment in time.
- Review arrears and partial shipments continuously and issue a re-plan accordingly.
- Responsible for reporting any hazards / near misses / incidents immediately to the area management.

Five years of planning and/or customer service experience in a manufacturing environment required. Prefer experience with a custom, build to order manufacturing environment.

- Strong organizational and administrative skills. Attention to detail a must.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.

Math skills to include the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Basic concepts of Algebra and Geometry.

Salary Info:
This is a first shift, on site position with a starting rate commensurate with experience, $58,000-$60,000
