Qualifications:
Required:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Estimated 2 years of Swiss machining experience, including setup
Desired:
• 2-year technical degree in Machine Tool Trades/Tool and Die
• Swiss lathe programming experience in CAM software such as PartMaker
Responsbilities:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC Swiss-type sliding headstock lathes to manufacture machined parts to the required specifications.
- Understand machined parts' intended use and function to ensure proper fit and performance at end use or assembly.
- Use CAD/CAM technology to create safe and effective CNC programming.
- Organize and maintain program files and documentation according to established standards.
- Perform first article and in-process inspections of machined parts and record dimensional data to validate part quality.
- Monitor resources and queues to ensure operations are completed on time.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with key contacts in various departments and sites to provide exceptional Swiss machining services.
- Works safely and follows all safety policies and procedures.

hourly range: $32-42/hour depending on experience
