About the Job : The Process Engineer will contribute to the design, installation, and startup of a new coating technology. This technology will enhance our manufacturing capabilities and enable us to deliver more sustainable products to the market. They will work closely and interact regularly with a multifunctional team from Production, Quality Control, Safety, and Product Development. It is expected this role will offer substantial professional development and advancement opportunities. Responsibilities : Communicate with equipment vendors, production, QC and safety personnel. Review equipment, drawings, and collect comments from Trelleborg personnel to influence the vendor designs to meet Trelleborg requirements. Lead safety reviews and FMEAs at project milestones. Lead the startup planning exercise. Fill the role of Principal Engineer for the equipment startup(s). Support production operations when the line is operational. Education & Experience : Bachelors degree in Engineering, Polymer Science, Chemistry, or a related technical field. 1 to 5 years of technical experience in the polymer processing industry preferred; however, new graduates with relevant educational experience will be considered. Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Statistical Analysis, and 5S methodologies is a plus. Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills are essential. Ability to effectively collaborate with equipment vendors, production teams, safety personnel, and quality control staff.
