Tasks and Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Drive initiatives for business growth and long-term sustainability.
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Ensure that all processes and procedures are compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) Financial Management:
- Monitor financial performance and take proactive measures to ensure financial targets are met.
- Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining high- quality operations.
- Collaborate with Regional Finance Manager for Americas and their team
Team Leadership:
- Provide strong leadership and direction to department managers and their teams
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that the organization consistently meets or exceeds quality standards and customer expectations.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Supply Chain Management:
- Optimize inventory management and logistics to ensure the timely delivery of products.
Compliance and Safety:
- Maintain a safe working environment for employees and promote adherence to health and safety protocols.
Reporting and Communication:
- Provide regular reports and updates to Regional Operations Director-Americas as needed.
- Communicate organizational objectives and progress to employees at all levels.
Employee Engagement:
- Ensure staff employee engagement results are positive and take steps to further improve results.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, international business, or a related field
- Extensive Senior Leadership experience with progressive managerial responsibilities
- Prior experience as Plant Manager; preferably responsible for multiple sites or a campus
- Experience with operations, supply chain, quality, customer service, and product lines
- Experience leading within a union environment
