What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operator 4484 position at Trelleborg?
The Operator position plays an important role in ensuring the production standards for our products are met and participate in the production of plastic molded parts. This position will work closely with other operators, shift supervisors, and engineers to assure all suspect material is identified, procedures are carried through, and training/education is conducted to ensure future success and high-quality standards are met.
The hours for this position will be Monday-Friday 7AM-3:15PM. Some overtime may be required based on business need.
Responsibilities:
Operates injection molding and auxiliary equipment and performs secondary operations while maintain predetermined productivity rates.
- Reads, understands and follows the written instructions including routine cleaning of the molds
- Prepares and maintains accurate production records and follows MNR&P related procedures. (NP Charts, transfer logs, use of color coded bins, weigh scale procedures, BPCS clocking)

Follows company safety policies and procedures
Initiates and participates in continuous improvement efforts
Maintains a clean work environment including line clearance, press cleanliness, part containment and 5S tasks
Communicates respectfully with all team members in both verbal and written form
Performs other duties and assumes accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.

Physical capabilities involved with performing all job- related tasks.
Must be able to lift/carry 40 lbs. - Ability to read and understand English written work instructions.
