Overview :
Trellis Services is currently hiring Instructors to work in our Weekend Program in Towson.
In this role, you will work in a 1 : 1 or 3 : 1 ratio with children between the ages of 8-21 diagnosed with autism. You will assist the child with arts / crafts, play games / puzzles and go on community outings. The Program is open various Saturday and Sunday's from 10 : 00am-2 : 00pm. We offer very flexible schedules! The Program is located in Towson right off 695. This position is ideal for someone who wants to make a difference in the life of a child! Flexible hours, great pay ($19 / hr) and participation in our 401K plan! Great entry level positon and resume builder for someone looking to start their career in Special Education!
- MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 100 HOURS OF EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH INDIVIDUALS WITH DELAYS AND BE DEPENDABLE
Responsibilities :
As a Trellis autism instructor, you will work under the supervision of one of our experienced Case Managers and gain experience using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Physical requirements vary and are based on specific client assignments. You may be asked to engage in any of the following : push, pull, lift up to 35 pounds, and move quickly, according to client needs. It is necessary to be able to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run.
