POSITION SUMMARY :
As a Construction Cost Estimator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Panelization / Facades and PreBuck business segments. Your primary responsibilities will include performing detailed material takeoffs, crafting project estimates, and providing technical support for client inquiries.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop and establish processes for estimating, on-screen material takeoff, and scope reviews, enhancing value for the sales team and clients.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures for project estimating and manufacturing process development.
- Prepare comprehensive estimates by analyzing specifications and architectural drawings, while addressing addendums, RFIs, and relevant documents for bidding purposes.
- Interpret construction schedules for materials installation.
- Calculate total project costs, including material and panel fabrication.
- Create and maintain a project database documenting job cost estimates for the project coordination team.
- Assist in creating written content and illustrations for catalogs and support literature for new product launches.
- Convert AutoCAD documents into various formats such as PDF, GIF, JPEG, EPS, WMF, and more.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS :
The salary range for this position is typically between $64,500 and $80,625, based on qualifications, operations needs, and legal considerations.
