Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Key Account Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing, developing, and managing key accounts to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets by developing and executing strategic account plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, while identifying and pursuing new opportunities to increase product adoption.
- Work closely with internal teams to drive product specifications and project opportunities within assigned territories.
- Utilize industry knowledge and market insights to develop trusted partnerships with customers, focusing on problem-solving and advisory services.
- Prepare and deliver strategic business plans for each customer, including monthly forecasts.
- Follow the standard sales process to identify prospects, gain customer commitment, predict sales probability, and close deals efficiently.
- Manage day-to-day customer interactions, exchanging information succinctly and addressing issues directly and tactfully.
- Develop and deliver high-quality digital collateral, presentations, and business correspondence to support the sales process.
- Coordinate product knowledge training sessions with internal and external customers, leveraging supplier representatives as needed.
- Leverage technology for productivity, lead generation, account maintenance, sales tracking, and customer contact.
- Collaborate with internal support resources to foster teamwork through cooperation, trust, and mutual respect.
- Attend industry conventions and trade shows to present business unit products and services.
- Maintain extensive product knowledge in all product lines and service offerings.
- Adhere to company policies, pricing, and operational procedures, ensuring a professional image.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, or Construction Management, with 2-3 years of construction or industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two to four years of related experience, preferably in ICF, concrete block, structures, and walls.
- Construction knowledge, including waterproofing, air barriers, framing, modular, etc., and knowledge of product chemistries.
- Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and emotionally intelligent, with a positive outlook and adaptability.
- Strong presentation skills, ability to read an audience, and adjust style accordingly.
