Job Title: Assistant Supervisor-Milling

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Departmental Operations: Direct and coordinate the activities of employees to ensure the efficient production of paint and related products.
• Maintain a Safe Working Environment: Enforce health and safety regulations and monitor work areas to prevent accidents.
• Coordinate with Other Departments: Confer with supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
• Plan and Establish Work Schedules: Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Communicate Effectively: Provide information to supervisors and co-workers in written form or in person.
• Maintain Good Attendance and Punctuality: Maintain a good record of attendance and punctuality.
• Learn Manual Tasks: Learn all manual tasks performed within the department.
• Perform Tasks Following Procedures: Perform tasks assigned using specific operating procedures, and following department-specific quality control processes and procedures.
• Conduct Business with Integrity: Conduct all business with integrity.

Requirements:

• Leadership Skills: Provide leadership and guidance to department shift personnel.
• Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with supervisors and peers.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances.
• Analytical Skills: Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and evaluate current production estimates and outputs.
