Café Server

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Server to join our team. We are looking for a candidate with afternoon availability (Noon to 5PM) on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Responsibilities:

• Wait on Customers: Provide friendly and efficient service to guests, take orders, and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Operate Barista Station Equipment: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso beverages with precision and attention to detail.
• Sandwich Line: Assemble and prepare food items from the menu on a sandwich line, ensuring quality and presentation meet restaurant standards.
• Food Preparation: Assist in food preparation tasks, maintaining consistency and following established recipes and guidelines.
• Organization and Teamwork: Demonstrate strong organizational skills and collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations.
• Cleanliness Standards: Maintain a clean and sanitized cafe environment according to management standards, including regular cleaning of workstations and common areas.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 30 pounds, perform opening and closing duties efficiently, and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash transactions, provide correct change, and be responsible for drawer reports at the end of shifts.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work days as needed until 5 pm and weekends as needed until 5:30 pm.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Must be a reliable team player with a positive attitude.
• Ability to adapt to varying tasks and responsibilities.
