Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily concrete construction activities on-site.
- Read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications to ensure accurate execution.
- Oversee forming, pouring, and finishing of concrete for slabs, foundations, and structures.
- Ensure proper grading, leveling, and curing of concrete surfaces.
- Manage and direct crew members, ensuring productivity and adherence to project timelines.
- Conduct quality control inspections to meet company and industry standards.
- Train and mentor crew members in proper concrete techniques and safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, contractors, and clients to ensure project success.
- Maintain OSHA compliance and safety standards on all job sites.
- Operate and oversee the use of necessary tools and equipment for concrete work.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in concrete construction and crew leadership.
- Expertise in concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and reinforcement techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, grading plans, and technical drawings.
- Experience with commercial and industrial concrete applications.
- Knowledge of concrete mix designs, curing methods, and finishing techniques.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a crew.
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull at least 50 lbs regularly.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required.
- Criminal records will be evaluated on a per-case basis.
