Job Overview:
The Office Assistant will support daily operations by handling administrative tasks related to customer orders and data entry. This role will focus on providing consistent clerical support, order follow-up, and ensuring all processes run smoothly without requiring decision-making authority.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Processing and Documentation:
- Input and update customer orders in an accurate and prompt manner.
- Prepare, maintain, and file order documentation as needed.
Customer Outreach Support:
- Maintain positive customer interactions through email and phone outreach for non-decision-based communication.
Data Entry and Reporting:
- Enter customer and transaction data accurately into rental software.
- Ensure records are current and complete to support order visibility and audit readiness.
General Office Support:
- Manage email inboxes and correspondence related to general order information.
- Organize digital files for contracts, invoices, and client communications.
- Support internal communication by sharing updates across relevant teams.
- Manage multi phone lines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in administration or clerical role, preferably in construction, rental industry.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and customers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
