Job Summary:
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) oversees the organization’s ongoing operations and procedures. As a key member of the senior management team, the COO reports directly to the Managing Director and establishes policies that promote company culture and vision through its operations. The COO is responsible for the efficiency of the business, which includes maintaining control of diverse business operations and establishing and following a set of policies and processes.

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the moving company, ensuring efficiency and high service standards are maintained across all areas, including moving, packing, deliveries, and storage services.
- Collaborate with the Managing Director and executive team to develop and implement business strategies that drive growth, improve performance, and ensure sustainability.
- Analyze existing processes and implement operational improvements that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and streamline workflows.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team to ensure high levels of team members' engagement, productivity, and alignment with company goals. Foster a positive and customer-focused company culture.
- Ensure that the company delivers exceptional customer service by monitoring client feedback, resolving service-related issues, and consistently meeting customer expectations.
- Identify and implement technological solutions to improve operational efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance customer experience, such as route optimization and tracking systems.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure business continuity and manage potential liabilities.

Education and Experience:

- In-depth understanding of moving services, logistics, transportation, or related industries, with experience in managing both field operations and back-office processes.
- Strong leadership, team building, and people management skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and build effective relationships with all levels of the organization, customers, and external partners.
- Experience with operational software, CRM systems, and emerging technologies that improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
