Relationship Manager

Position Overview

Trendco is seeking a dynamic and motivated Relationship Manager to oversee Fulfillment Centers for our clients. This individual will be the face of Trendco, building strong relationships with the site managers and employees to promote and manage our PPE recycling program. This role involves weekly site visits, strategic placement of recycling bins, training employees on sustainability initiatives, and facilitating the collection and distribution of recycled PPE products.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage 5-10 client Fulfillment Centers, visiting each one weekly to build and maintain relationships with site managers and employees.
• Train and encourage employees on the importance of their role in recycling and using recycled gloves and vests, helping to make a positive environmental impact.
• Strategically place recycling bins throughout the facilities in highly visible, and accessible locations.
• Collect full recycling bins during weekly visits, placing them in the shipping area for pick-up by Trendco’s carriers. Replace full bins with empty ones.
• Unpackage clean gloves and vests upon return from recycling, organizing them on PPE racks for employees to use as needed.
• Organize promotions, team competitions, and other incentives to boost employee participation in the recycling program.
• Track and report weekly metrics at each fulfillment center. Provide solutions and recommendations for improving recycling efficiency.
• Identify and address any issues related to recycling logistics, such as bin placement, collection challenges, or low employee participation.
• Continuously educate employees on best practices for PPE recycling. Provide reports to site managers and stay up-to-date with environmental sustainability trends in recycling processes, sharing insights with fulfillment center teams.
• Work closely with Trendco’s logistics and operations teams to ensure timely pickups and deliveries of PPE recycling materials. Coordinate with fulfillment center management to align the program with their schedules and processes.
• Act as the main point of contact for site managers regarding the recycling program. Address concerns and provide high-level customer service to maintain strong relationships.
• Ensure that all recycling processes comply with safety and operational protocols. Promote a culture of safety when handling PPE and recycling materials.
• Identify areas for improvement in the recycling process, from bin collection to employee training, to increase efficiency and drive higher engagement. Present improvement ideas to Trendco’s leadership team.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently, particularly across different locations and fulfillment centers. Previous experience managing multi-site projects is beneficial.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present training materials clearly and motivate employees to participate in the recycling program.
• Proficiency in using software tools for tracking data, reporting metrics, and managing communication with Trendco's internal team.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage recycling schedules, inventories, and promotional activities across multiple fulfillment centers.
• Ability to identify small issues before they become larger problems, such as missed pickups, misplaced bins, or low stock of recycled PPE.
• Willingness to adapt to changing conditions at fulfillment centers and pivot strategies to meet the goals of each location.
• The ability to inspire and lead teams at the fulfillment centers, encouraging participation in recycling initiative while representing the company professionally.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role with a focus on sales, relationship building, and account management is preferred.
• This position requires regular travel to fulfillment centers, so the ability to travel within the assigned territory is essential.
• Bachelor's degree required

Pay: $61,136.00 - $67,246.00 per year
