What are the responsibilities and job description for the Proposal Coordinator position at Trendsetter Engineering, Inc.?
Summary:
The Proposals Coordinator will be responsible for supporting and leading commercial proposal responses within Trendsetter’s multiple business units. Working closely with technical and commercial team members within the company, the Proposals Coordinator will generate technical and commercial deliverables for internal and client facing proposals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide detailed written quotations for project opportunities Trendsetter is tendering
• Complete proposal materials on time as required to support client required due dates
• Identify requirements and determine resources needs required to support completion of the proposal
• Effectively execute assigned proposal and tender response tasks, including but not limited to the development of:
o Bid phase scopes of work and detailed technical write-ups
o Detailed project cost estimates; obtaining supplier quotes as required
o Detailed proposal project schedules, incorporating supplier inputs as required
o Compile or generate technical deliverables as required such as drawings, sketches, plans, layouts, procedures
• Review client specifications; develop and manage clarification registers as required
• Participate in proposal clarification meetings as required
• Collaborate with Trendsetter Management and Sales teams through the duration of the proposal process, from opportunity identification to closeout
• Provide requested reports to management with status details
• Drive continuous improvement to Trendsetter processes and practices where possible
• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Science, or management discipline preferred
• Experience in the subsea oil & gas equipment industry preferred but not required
• Must have the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines with changing priorities
• Must be keen to thrive in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS Project required
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills required
