Program Planner/Coordinator
Job Summary
Works with Chairperson, Program Directors, Program committees and other groups to plan procedures for program and economic development activities, study and analyze needs of the members and community.
Responsibilities
Will work with and assist with all programs of Trenton Indian Service Area as needed or requested by the Chairperson of TISA including but not limited to the following:
Helping Hand Program
Work with the program in providing minor repairs and renovations to low-income families targeting the Elderly.
-Interview and taking applications for clients
-Complete Helping Hand Paperwork
-Ensure eligibility requirements are met
-Work with Contractors and Vendors-find contractors/supplies
-Make site visits as needed to review projects and inspection when job is completed
-Maintain files on program
Trenton Lake Recreation Area:
-Manage paperwork for the renewal of the lease.
-Testing water
-Oversee Ticket Taker and Snack Shack
-Work with the Coor of Engineers on all renovation requirements
-Oversee the maintenance of recreation area
Will provide assistance and draft proposals as needed under the direction of the Chairperson’s office and all other duties as assigned. Construction knowledge, computer skills, and communication skills needed.
