Position Summary
Assist the Quality and Compliance team and the Trenton Systems team in managing efforts to plan, implement, control, and sustain compliance for product and processes with various industry, customer, legal, regulatory and internal requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborating with operations to develop and implement controls and improvements.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators and supporting data collection systems.
- Monitoring and analyzing quality performance.
- Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
- Assist with risk management activities (i.e., PFMEA, DFMEA, etc.)
- Ensure performance of suppliers through monitoring of scorecards and corrective actions
- Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
- Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues internally and externally.
- Reviewing codes, specifications, and processes.
- Support product compliance activities such as test plans and reports and witness testing.
- Support internal and external audit activities related to products and the Quality Management System (i.e., AS9100)
- Prepare training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
- Specialize in areas of quality control engineering, such as design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative application.
- As needed, can travel to contract manufacturers to address issues or support with the new product launch.

Requirements
Required (must have)
- BS or BA degree in an engineering related field or equivalent work experience
- 5 Years’ Experience
- Experience with Quality Standards such as ISO9001 and AS9100 preferred
- Ensure performance of suppliers through monitoring of scorecards and corrective actions
- Ability to research requirements for new or different standards as they are presented
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Strong analytical skills, problem solving techniques and statistical application experience.
- Ability to work and communicate at all levels within the organization
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work with Engineering during the design process to ensure best practices or lessons learned from manufacturing are considered
- Ability to read and interpret assembly and component drawings and engineering specifications
- Electro-mechanical assembly processes and practices
Desired (nice to have)
- Experience in the Defense and Aerospace Industry preferred
- Experience with creating AS9102 First Article Documentation
- Quality Management System audit experience
- RoHS, REACH and Conflict Minerals Reporting
- SharePoint experience with site set-up, document control and automation
- Knowledge of DO-160 and MIL-STD testing.
- Knowledge of IPC standards.
