Key Responsibilities
The Surface Preparation Specialist will be responsible for preparing metal surfaces for painting and applying coatings using conventional, airless, or hand paint systems. Other key responsibilities include:
• Reading and interpreting paint specifications and manufacturer application instructions
• Troubleshooting blasting and painting equipment and reading wet or dry gauges
• Familiarizing yourself with Steel Structural Painting Chemical (SSPC) preparation
The ideal candidate will have two years of blasting and painting experience or four years of continuous Company experience preferred.
