TREO STAFFING LLC is hiring a Ship Machinery Installer to join our team. As an Outside Machinist, you will be responsible for installing, aligning, and repairing ship machinery such as propelling machinery, auxiliary motors, pumps, ventilating equipment, steering gear, laundry and galley equipment.
Responsibilities
* Install, align, and repair ship machinery using hand tools and heavy equipment
* Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
* Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on marine equipment
* Maintain accurate records of work performed
Requirements
* 4 years of experience in ship machinery installation or related field
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
* Knowledge of air controls and tubing bending
* Familiarity with marine construction and commercial/military specifications and standards
