Responsibilities:
- Guest Interaction: Serve as the main point of contact for our guests, providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Inspect service stations for cleanliness, restock food and condiment stations, and ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
- Menu Promotion: Answer food inquiries, offer recommendations, and promote menus and concepts to enhance the guest experience.
- Prep Cook Work: Assist in basic food preparation tasks to ensure ingredients are ready for cooking and serving, maintaining high standards of food safety.
Essential Functions:
- Stock Management: Maintain utensils, plates, glasses, and food stations, ensuring proper labeling and compliance with allergen guidelines.
- Beverage Preparation: Prepare beverages and maintain the drink service area, including coffee, juices, and sodas.
- Guest Engagement: Actively greet and engage with guests, accommodating special needs and gathering feedback to improve service.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Interpersonal Skills: Engage guests with a welcoming demeanor and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Organization: Manage multiple tasks with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
- Safety Awareness: Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Must possess and maintain an active ANSI-certified California Food Handler’s Certificate.
- Maintain a neat appearance in clean uniforms and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- A fundamental understanding of food handling and sanitation practices.
- Must have and maintain authorization to work in the US
Physical Demands:
- Physical Stamina: Standing, walking, and some heavy lifting required for job tasks.
- Visual Acuity: Ability to perceive and adjust to various visual demands.
