Position Overview:
As an Event Captain at Très L.A., you will be the embodiment of elegance and sophistication, overseeing our luxurious events and ensuring impeccable service for our high-end clientele. You will manage staff, operations, and guest experiences, ensuring that every event runs smoothly and exceeds expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Guest Relations: Welcome and assist guests upon arrival, ensuring seamless seating arrangements and exceptional service.
- Event Planning: Collaborate with managers and organizers to plan event layouts and logistics.
- Staff Management: Schedule and manage staff shifts, provide training on customer service and serving etiquette, and supervise staff performance during events.
- Event Coordination: Oversee the setup of events, coordinate food and beverage service, and maintain communication between the kitchen and service staff.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage the inventory of supplies, equipment, and furniture to ensure readiness for events.
- Guest Services: Address and resolve guest requests, questions, and complaints with professionalism and grace.
- Venue Maintenance: Ensure the venue and facilities are clean and meet all safety regulations.
- Compliance: Adhere to and communicate all safety regulations and client requirements as outlined in Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
- Training: Train front-of-house (FOH) staff members to uphold Très L.A.’s high standards of service and hospitality.
