A role responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and overall operation of a healthcare facility, including managing building systems, equipment, repairs, safety protocols, and compliance with regulations, ensuring a clean and functional environment for patient care; essentially, overseeing the physical aspects of a medical facility to support smooth healthcare delivery.
Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
· Maintenance and repairs:
Performing preventative maintenance checks on building systems, medical equipment, and facilities; coordinating repairs with vendors and contractors.
· Facility management:
Overseeing space planning, managing utilities, and ensuring proper functionality of HVAC systems, lighting, and security systems.
· Compliance and safety:
Adhering to healthcare regulations, maintaining safety standards, and conducting safety inspections to prevent hazards.
· Capital projects:
Planning and managing construction or renovation projects within the facility.
· Vendor management:
Selecting and managing vendors for maintenance services, supplies, and equipment
· Budgeting and cost control:
Tracking facility expenses, managing budgets for maintenance and repairs
· Emergency preparedness:
Developing and implementing emergency response plans, coordinating with staff on disaster preparedness
Travel is required (Melbourne, Suntree and Merritt Island). Reliable transportation. Flexible. Will train on specifics.
COMPENSATION BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND RESUME.
