Position: Commissary Supervisor
Overview: The Commissary Supervisor is responsible for overseeing both the commissary operations and janitorial services.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise commissary and janitorial employees in daily operations.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to team members.
- Train new staff on commissary procedures and janitorial duties, including proper cleaning and sanitation practices.
- Conduct performance evaluations and ensure compliance with safety, health, and company standards.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotating products.
- Ensure all inventory records are accurate and up to date, minimizing waste and shortages.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
- Ensure commissary areas remain clean, organized, and in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Work with management to improve operations and resolve customer concerns.
Additional Duties: Other job-related duties assigned
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Qualifications: 2-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in commissary. Familiarity with custodial roles, equipment, and operating a forklift. Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to multitask. Proficiency in inventory management and basic computer skills.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver's License
Other (e.g., post-offer drug screen, background check, driver’s license record, etc.). Employee’s must undergo a driver’s license record check; employees must pass a background check. Note: For Federal position list NCICS Clearance
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required by position
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, kneel, and perform cleaning tasks as required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods (20-30 minutes at a time)
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Rate of Pay: $21.10
Pay Range: OP-3
Hours: Tuesday and Friday 4:30pm-2:30am
