Position: Lead Rest Area Worker
Location: Radium Springs
Overview
Under supervision maintain rest areas to contract specifications.
Responsibilities
- This position requires that the employee read, write, speak and comprehend the English language.
- This position requires that the employee report to work/training as scheduled, stay awake and alert during work/training, and follow company policy for arranging for time away from work.
- This requires that the employee follow all policies and procedures as written at all times unless documented reasonable accommodation is made or dispensation is given by the President/CEO.
- This position requires the employee to interact with colleagues and all stakeholders professionally and in a manner consistent with policy.
- This position requires the employee to be certified in all mandated training courses and demonstrate the expected level of competency for each course completed.
- This position requires the employee to operate a computer and required software effectively and efficiently including typing, navigation and interpretation of electronic data.
- This position requires that the employee operate either a company owned or personal vehicle on behalf of the company.
- Must maintain vehicle clean inside and outside.
- Must always carry work phone while on duty and return calls and messages as soon as possible.
- Clean rest area restrooms, buildings and grounds
ADDITIONAL DUTIES. Other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education. High School or GED.
Experience.
Six months’ experience in the field of facilities maintenance, e.g., carpentry, plumbing, electrical, lawn service, or janitorial.
Education/Experience substitution. In accordance with Tresco policy.
Licenses/Certifications. Valid driver’s license.
Other (e.g., post-offer drug screen, background check, driver’s license record, etc.). Employee’s must undergo a driver’s license record check; employees must pass a background check.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED BY THE POSITION:
- Bilingual skills are not required but are beneficial.
- Maintain confidentiality of all information regarding clients and employees of Tresco.
- Ability to work under stressful situations.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Ability to secure and maintain an NACI clearance.
Rate of Pay: $16.25/hour
Pay Range: OP-1
Hours: Sunday thru Wednesday, 7AM-4:30PM
