Additional responsibilities for this Security Position includes :
Observes and reports activities and incidents at the assigned location, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnelMakes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment within the facilityPreserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premisesControls access to the location or facility through the admittance processPatrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized personsProtects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigationsResponds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidentsPrepares logs and reports as requiredQualifications :
Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers. Additional requirements of the Customer Service Officer include :
High School Diploma or GEDMust have guard card, or able to obtain their Guard CardFamiliar with ABC Laws within a nightlife settingMust be 18 years of ageHave a reliable means of communication and transportationMust have the legal right to work in the United StatesMust have the ability to speak, read, and write EnglishMust be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation Knowledge of or ability to learn security operations and proceduresAbility to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic formBe an effective team member and courteous telephone mannersAbility to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstancesAbility to adapt to changes in the external environment and organizationAbility to write routine correspondence, including logs and reportsGood organizational skillsHigh school or equivalent (Preferred)License (Required) : Guard Card
