We are currently seeking skilled and professional Special Event Security Officers to help ensure the safety and enjoyment of attendees, staff, and property at these prestigious events.
Position Summary:
As a Special Event Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by controlling access points, monitoring crowd behavior, and responding to incidents as needed. This on-call role requires flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced event settings.
Key Responsibilities:

Access Control:
- Verify tickets, credentials, and identification at entry points to ensure that only authorized individuals gain access to restricted areas.

Crowd Management:
- Monitor crowd behavior and proactively identify and address potential disturbances. Maintain safe crowd flow and assist with guest directions as necessary.

Monitor and Patrol Venue:
- Conduct patrols of the venue, including entrances, exits, VIP areas, and general seating. Watch for suspicious activities and maintain a visible presence to deter disruptive behavior.

Incident Response:
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, including medical emergencies, disturbances, and unauthorized access. Work alongside venue staff and law enforcement when necessary.

Safety Protocol Enforcement:
- Enforce venue rules and safety protocols to ensure a safe, enjoyable environment for attendees. This includes preventing prohibited items from entering the venue and managing any potential security risks.

Emergency Procedures:
- Familiarize yourself with emergency evacuation plans and protocols. Assist with crowd evacuation and liaise with emergency services in the event of a fire, accident, or other emergency.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in event security, customer service, or similar roles preferred
- Valid BSIS California Guard Card
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced, high-energy environments
- Available for evening, weekend, and on-call shifts, as events require
