Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify bugs and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams using Agile methodologies, including Scrum, to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Document defects and track them through resolution using appropriate tools.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on architecture and design decisions.
- Assist in the integration of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices in the testing process.
- Perform regression testing to validate fixes and new features across various platforms including web and mobile (Android).
- Utilize various testing frameworks such as JUnit for Java applications and REST/SOAP for API testing.
Skills
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
- Basic understanding of programming languages such as PHP and Node.js.
- Knowledge of web services protocols like SOAP and REST.
