Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing software applications, identifying defects, and ensuring that products meet quality standards before release. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to enhance the user experience by delivering high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve software issues.
- Ensure compliance with company quality assurance processes and standards.
- Participate in requirement analysis to understand software functionality.
- Automate test cases where applicable to enhance efficiency.
- Conduct usability testing to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Generate detailed test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and trends in quality assurance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- years of experience in software testing/quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, SQL) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in an agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in performance testing and security testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
- Certifications like ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent are a plus.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
