Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. You will collaborate closely with development teams to identify issues, enhance product performance, and contribute to the overall improvement of our software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure software quality.
- Analyze test results and document defects using HP ALM or other tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on potential issues.
- Utilize SQL and PL/SQL for database testing and validation of data integrity.
- Work with APIs to validate data exchanges between systems.
- Participate in release management activities to ensure smooth deployment of software updates.
- Implement CI/CD practices to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain thorough documentation of testing processes, results, and defect reports.
Skills
- Proficiency in MySQL for database querying and testing.
- Experience with AWS services for cloud-based applications.
- Strong understanding of software quality assurance methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with JSON for data interchange formats in testing scenarios.
- Knowledge of release management processes to coordinate software deployments effectively.
- Experience with HP ALM or similar tools for defect tracking and test management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
