Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health disorders. This role requires a strong understanding of psychiatric principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. The Psychiatric Nurse will play a vital role in patient assessment, treatment planning, and the implementation of therapeutic interventions.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience as an RN required (recent psych experience must be within the last 3 months)
- Psych/Behavioral Health experience and age groups must be listed on the resume
- Must have peds/child/adolescent psych experience listed in resume
- Must be willing to float to other units and take charge shifts
- Will consider first time travelers
- BLS (AHA)
- Vermont State RN License
Shift: Nights, 3x12, 7pm-7:30am EOW
