Responsibilities
- Set up of a variety of different sterile procedures, accurate exam selection and performance of US studies.
- Adjusts scope of service and scan in real time depending on patient presentation.
- Responsible for performing two and three dimensional sonography imaging and procedures on patients.
- Selects a transducer and adjusts the equipment controls according to the body part to be examined, the depth of field and other specifications of test.
Skills
- Proficient in diagnostic radiology techniques relevant to obstetrics and gynecology.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to women's health.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
- Solid understanding of physiology as it pertains to women's health issues.
- Experience or training in sonography for prenatal imaging is preferred.
- Familiarity with Ob/Gyn practices and protocols is essential for effective patient management.
Shift: 8am-4:30pm
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years current Imaging/CT experience - Required
- MUST HAVE ARDMS (AB) and (RVT) CERTIFICATION - REQUIRED
- ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY/HIT THE GROUND RUNNING - REQUIRED
- Travel experience – Preferred
- Bachelor Degree - Preferred
