Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical imaging and diagnostic evaluation, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. This role requires proficiency in various technical skills, including sonography and CT scanning, as well as a solid understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
Shift: Days 6a-6:30p, 13 week contract, EOW
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans and sonography, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
- Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations to assist in patient assessments.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and provide accurate reports.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Educate patients on procedures, addressing any concerns to promote comfort and understanding.
- Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.
Skills
- Proficient in aseptic technique and maintaining sterile environments.
- Strong diagnostic evaluation skills with attention to detail.
- Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Experience in sonography and CT scanning is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medical imaging protocols and safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- 2 Years Experience - Required
- GE 1.5 - Highly Preferred
- Associate Degree - Required
- ARRT - Required
- BLS (AHA) - Required
