The Senior Product Manager is responsible for defining the vision, roadmap, and user experience for TreviPay’s User Portals. This position is a mix of bringing greenfield product ideas to market and maturing existing product features. We are looking for someone who has a proven ability to build prominent products. Previous fintech and or E-commerce experience is highly desired.
You will work with companywide stakeholder groups, peers, designers, and software engineers to bring great user experiences to life. We seek candidates who have a track record of being subject matter experts and thought leaders in their product space. You will play a lead role in defining the usability, viability, value, and feasibility of the product/feature pipeline. To achieve this, you will conduct competitive analysis, lead empathy interviews with clients and users, and prototype to test product ideas. You are responsible for ensuring we are building the right features the right way, launching them effectively, and monitoring the post-launch outcomes for necessary product optimizations.
You will represent the customer’s interests in product decisions and partner with stakeholders to ensure business interests are upheld. You will serve as the trusted, acknowledged expert for your product category. You should have a proven track record of making data-driven decisions in a continuous discovery and delivery-based product development ecosystem.
You are a critical member of the User Portals Solutions Product and Technology team, reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
o Execute the vision and strategy for the company’s User Portals and associated products.
o Perform competitive and marketplace analysis.
o Collaborate with risk, legal, compliance, sales, engineering, and customer support to build a rational, outcome-focused product roadmap.
o Lead with a “problem to solve” approach in defining the product and feature pipeline.
o Design product features through analysis, definition, and prioritization based on ROI and customer value. Prototype to test design ideas faster.
o Lead customer interviews with empathy to define the usability of designs and actively collaborate with the product design team to define the end-user experience (UX).
o Lead the Agile product development cycles and positively influence product delivery outcomes by:
- Establishing feature and story acceptance criteria.
- Defining metrics to evaluate the success of product features.
- Defining and delivering quarterly OKRs.
- Demonstrating strong communication skills: effectively engaging the scrum team in the product discovery process and elucidating the bigger picture to justify design choices. Identify opportunities for innovation and bring them to life.
Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:
o A strong Product Management track record with a portfolio of intuitive and profitable applications that you have previously led
o Bachelor’s degree in business, design, or engineering or other relevant work experience. Master’s degree preferred.
o Experience with wireframe and prototyping tools, backlog management tools, storyboards, and value stream diagramming.
o Have an innate ability to empathize with end users and create software that users love.
o Ability to break down complex problems into actionable product plans that drive product development.
o Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
o A lifelong learner of product management trends and best practices (Design Thinking, PDMA, Pragmatic Marketing).
o 5 years of success in product management.
o An effective storyteller.
o Possess an entrepreneurial spirit focused on business outcomes and market success.
o Experienced in agile delivery of “Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions” and/or “Platform as a Service solution”.
o Financial services/payments domain experience is a must.
