We have an opportunity for a Supervisor, Cash Management to join the TreviPay team. The Supervisor, Cash Management will manage the teams that manage all incoming cash. The cash must be:
o Posted to customer accounts
o Applied at the statement, invoice, or line item as requested by the business customer
o TreviPay is searching for a dynamic manager who can inspire a team to overcome challenges, recruit and retain top talent, and provide vision, goals and metrics to excel the team to ultimate success
The Supervisor, Cash Management will work within a team environment with several departments that work to ensure TreviPay has minimal AR exposure. The selected candidate would play an active role in cross team and company-wide projects to support the short term and longer-term business strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
o Ensure all payments are posted/applied to the appropriate accounts in an accurate timely and accurately
o Ensure team researches payments that cannot be automatically applied and use all resources available (customer remits, searches on accounts, account documentation) to apply the funds
o Direct workflow on unapplied payments and reduce amount unapplied through root cause analysis
o Reconcile accounts to resolve discrepancies between customer intent and actual payment application
o Oversee additional administrative job functions, a.k.a., shared services, as organizational needs change
o Create and manage strategy to obtain higher automation in applying payments and reducing unapplied payments by working with the Product Owner
o Meet customer SLA’s for payment application
o Develop, monitor, and present key performance indicators for the team to internal and external stakeholders
o Actively seek ways of improving process efficiency, implementing industry best practice and identifying cost saving initiatives
o Keep stakeholders informed of any issues or difficulties
o Responsible for ensuring team is adhering to internal controls
Team Management
o Provide daily management and leadership to direct reports
o Manage and motive the team as well as ensuring team members are trained to the level required for their roles
o Create and implement procedures and guidelines to assist the team with their duties
o Continually evaluate the effectiveness of procedures and controls to maximize departmental productivity and minimize errors made by the team
o Determine key metrics needed to ensure team effectiveness
o Provide advice and guidance to team on work related issues
o Conduct regular one-on-one and skip level meetings
o Follow progressive discipline procedures, if required
The Ideal Candidate
o Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
o Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills
o Strong understanding of order to cash cycle
o Advanced MS Office skills are required (Excel, Work, PowerPoint)
o Engaging leader focused on team development
o Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
o Able to adapt quickly and positively to change
o Effective organizational and multi-tasking skills along with a strong attention to detail
o Some travel may be required
Qualifications:
o Business to business accounts receivable experience, strongly preferred
o 3 years’ experience in a cash application or related accounts receivable roles
o 2 years supervisor/manager experience
o Bachelors’ degree in related field or equivalent work experience
