Job Summary :
The Compliance Officer will be instrumental in ensuring that all bank operations adhere to state and federal banking and consumer protection laws.
Responsibilities :
- Perform risk assessments on bank operations and product offerings to identify potential compliance risks.
- Conduct regular compliance testing and monitoring activities to identify potential compliance risks, gaps, and deficiencies. Develop and implement corrective action plans to address any issues identified.
- Continuously evaluate and update the bank's policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal banking laws, regulations, and consumer protection laws.
- Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits and regulatory examinations.
- Keeping up-to-date with changes in regulations and ensuring the firm's practices adapt accordingly.
- Lead and manage compliance-related projects, including the implementation of new regulations, system updates, and process improvements.
Qualifications :
The salary range is between $80,000-$100,000 depending on experience.
