What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2025 Summer Internship Program - Communications position at Trex Brand?
Trex Company, the world’s number one decking and railing brand, and leader in high-performance, low-maintenance outdoor living products, is seeking an enthusiastic storyteller to take part in our summer internship program as a Communications Intern. The Intern can expect to:
- Assist with developing content for corporate internal communications and LinkedIn.
- Content will include social media posts, written articles, photography, and some videography.
- Assist with employee programs, events, and activities to positively drive employee engagement.
- Work with management on various projects within Human Resources to achieve that goal.
Requirements:
Experience with photography, videography, and/or graphic design preferred but not required. Applicants must be strong writers with a passion for storytelling and attention to detail.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited degree program. Preference will be given to students in a Communications and/or Journalism focused degree or related program. Qualified applicants must have successfully completed at least two semesters of coursework or be an upcoming Junior or Senior with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
