What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Driver - 3 pm - 11 pm position at Trex Brand?
When you work at Trex, you’re contributing to the growth and enhancement of a true original. As a Trex CDL Shuttle Driver, you’ll support the supply chain by shuttling and jockeying trailers between buildings and Winchester.
We are seeking CDL Drivers to assist us in meeting production and quality goals. As members of our supply chain team, you'll aid in facilitating the movement of materials in a safe and efficient manner as required for plant production.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prioritize safety at all times.
- Foster a team-driven, "people first" culture.
- Operate all tractors and equipment necessary for duties in a manner promoting safety.
- Support shuttle and jockey movements between building sites to support Winchester Operations, including the movement of wood trailers, vans, and containers.
- Ensure weighing of all trailers as required by activity/trailer type.
- Perform daily inspections of trailers to maintain fleet integrity (specifically trailers that are moved).
- Be available for overtime work as required.
- Support flea center activities as needed.
- Obtain operation certification and demonstrate practical skills.
- Complete required documentation for driving activities.
- Excel in a team environment, demonstrating a willingness to learn and effectively communicate with Logistics Manager, Supervisors, Team Leaders, Maintenance, and coworkers.
- Fulfill any additional duties assigned by management.
EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
**TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES**
- Ability to understand and fulfill all communication involved in a driving position, demonstrating general knowledge of proper communication etiquette, the importance of initiative, teamwork, and maintaining a positive attitude.
REQUIREMENTS
- Consistent attendance, punctuality, and flexibility.
- Recognition that safety is a priority in all aspects and functions of work.
- CDL-Class A license with an active DOT physical.
