What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Driver position at Trex Brand?
- Operate equipment and perform duties in a manner that promotes safety for the position and all employees on shift.
- Requires knowledge of all lockout/tag out procedures for equipment used in all areas of Polyco and production
- Ensure timely movement of material trailers between the main plant and Polyco to ensure no stock outs occur
- Ensure weighing of all trailers is completed daily
- Inspect trailers for damage daily to ensure the fleet remains intact (specifically trailers that are moved)
- Load shell stock requests and any other material daily as requested by the plant
- Unloading and put away of inbound shell stock loads and packaging as required
- Unloading of pallet and gaylord trailers from the plant
- Assist in plant film and repro loading for the plant
- Perform bulk loading of material for the plant when required
- Assist in cleanup and organization of the warehouse
- Work overtime as required
- Learn and assist as needed in the inbound film and marshalling process
- Requires operational certification and practical demonstration to operate rolling stock.
- Requires knowledge of quality specifications for all Trex materials.
- Ability to decipher and complete required documentation as necessary for the driving position
- Work well in a team environment with the desire to learn and clearly communicate with Supervisor, Team Leaders, Maintenance, and coworkers
- Any additional duties as assigned by management
