We are looking for a Claims Resolution Specialist to support our team by being responsible for the evaluation, resolution, and management of homeowner and channel claims. As a Trex Claims Resolution Specialist, you will evaluate all documentation and related information to make a determination of claim approval where a warrantable product defect exists. This role is a key member of our Customer Experience Center team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate all documentation and related information to make determination of claim approval where a warrantable product defect exists
- Negotiate when appropriate the most suitable, reasonable, and equitable resolution of the issue when a Trex product failure exists. Exercise good business judgment in cases involving key business relationships
- Ensure all case data is updated in claims management system timely and accurately
- Communicate promptly and accurately with all related parties in accordance with department policy and procedures
- Escalate immediately incidents previously unidentified issues that may indicate a rising product concern or any safety related complaint
- Approve financial commitments related to proposed claim settlements, within designated approval authority
- Safeguard company assets by ensuring that offers for claim resolution are within company policy and confines of good business judgment

Required:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relative customer service experience

BASE SALARY RANGE: $21.00-23.00 per hour
The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual and/or sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.
