The Assistant Store Manager provides administrative support to Sales Associates and Assistant Managers by delivering excellent customer service, maintaining a clean store environment, and adhering to company policies.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean parking lot, sweep and mop floors.
- Restock coolers and freezers, stock and face products on shelves.
- Clean fountain and coffee areas, restrooms, and sidewalks.
- Bag ice, empty trash containers inside and outside the store.
- Accurately perform money transactions on the register.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with staff members, handle changes productively.
- Support the company's mission statement and Core Values.
- Provide fast, friendly customer service.
- Finalize daily paperwork, interview and hire employees.
- Complete regular evaluations of Sales Associates and Assistant Managers.
- Develop work schedules for Sales Associates and Assistant Managers.
- Organize training of new employees, read and respond to email and intra-mail.
- Reconcile payroll reports and submit to Home Office.
- Order products from approved vendors, keep track of daily fuel sales and inventory.
- Establish communication with Home Office Personnel and Maintenance Department.
- Keep the building and dispensers clean and in working order.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged standing, physical exertion to lift heavy objects.
- Occasional stooping, bending, reaching, and climbing ladders or step stools.
Compensation:$45-$50K depending on experience
