SUBWAY SANDWICH ARTIST ROLE
The Subway Sandwich Artist plays a crucial part in the success of our store by providing exceptional customer service and supporting the Subway Manager and Shift Leaders in maintaining a productive work environment. To achieve this, the Sandwich Artist works closely with the Subway Manager, Shift Leader, and customers to ensure seamless operations.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support to the Subway Manager and Shift Leaders.
- Maintain adherence to Trexcon policies and procedures at all times.
- Communicate effectively with staff members, adapting to changing situations and handling additional tasks as assigned.
- Support the mission statement of Trexcon.
- Promote fast, friendly customer service and effective communication with all customers.
- Comply with product formulas and follow proper procedures for preparing bread products.
- Operate equipment according to manufacturer's guidelines and Subway regulations.
- Conduct accurate daily inventory counts using the provided forms.
- Maintain awareness and adherence to Subway and county Health and Safety policies regarding food handling.
- Practice proper hand washing and glove usage.
- Store products within designated temperature zones and adhere to storage guidelines based on product type.
- Record and monitor opened and prepared food products.
- Evaluate products daily to remove outdated items.
- Accurately record temperatures of products on designated logs during each shift.
- Initiate corrective actions for products within the temperature danger zone.
- Receive and accurately account for delivery from approved distributors.
- Adhere to uniform policies and maintain accurate product inventory records.
- Assemble products for customers upon request.
- Process transactions accurately on the register.
- Use the time clock to record duty time correctly.
- Complete shift paperwork.
- Clean floors, restrooms, and other areas as assigned.
- Participate in store meetings.
- Empty trash containers and clean sidewalks and parking lot areas.
- Complete food adjustments and other duties assigned by the Subway Manager or Shift Leader.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires prolonged standing.
- Demands physical exertion to move, lift over 10 lbs., carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials.
- Occasional stooping, bending, reaching, and climbing ladders and step stools may be required.
- Some travel may be necessary.
